The Timber in Construction Roadmap is a Government programme, launched in December 2023. Developed across industry and in partnership with Defra, the Roadmap seeks to guide the construction industry through the opportunities of building in timber, while identifying constraints.
A working group, will monitor and track progress in delivery of actions, seeking to evaluate and progress and scope new tasks as required. The Structural Timber Association worked with Defra and other industry partners to advise and develop this Roadmap. There are 7 priority themes, each with actions for both Government and industry.
