If the UK is to meet its commitment to achieve Net Zero by 2050, the construction
industry must transition to a more sustainable building material, and none are more
suited to this transition than timber.
As such, the STA wanted to engage with architects and designers to shine a
spotlight on everything that is currently being achieved with timber as a construction
material, and how architects are using it in many different ways to produce incredible
buildings from office blocks to social housing.
To showcase these projects, the STA led a bespoke event purely for this segment of
the industry, which was hosted at RIBA HQ in London featuring an expert panel of
speakers.
